today I chose nourishment at every turn & here’s what unfolded.

slept until 10. drank warm water w/ lemon. grounded. meditated. made myself a cup of decaf coffee w/ that extra foamy cashew milk (thx to @elmhurst1925). then, we went brunch down the street. I ordered a burger with no cheese, gluten free bun & extra garlic aioli. I took my digestive juice from @organic_olivia & I ate until I was full. I had one mimosa and 3 waters.

then we walked. we walked 3 miles and I kept my focus in the trees because new england foliage is always gone too soon. I came home rolled out my mat & stretched for 20 min while listening to positive affirmations.

then I chose to meditate again — this time with a new focus. I focused on the people I want to call into my life. I got up. wrote straight from my heart & posted into my story. I showered. I put on a robe. I slathered on @deciem aha bha peel. threw my sheets in the wash.

& then I sat down to post this as a reminder that nourishment is not one size fits all. nourishment doesn’t hold space for deprivation or will power. nourishment isn’t about what you think you “should” do or what you think is expected of you.

nourishment is anything that brings you guilt free joy. peace. comfort. wellbeing.

the rest of the day will include sitting on the couch curled up w/ casey & jay watching the patriots. homemade chili for dinner. intentional rest & intentional love.
