it’s been a heavy 24 hours & I wouldn’t trade it for the world.


the journey to healing — whether it’s your relationship to food, working out, your body, career, to judgement & comparison... it all begins with acceptance.


self acceptance is the foundation of self love. we have to accept who we are & where we are on our journey. accept the dark parts the messy parts the parts of yourself you’re too scared to face.

accept that a good day may be followed by a bad day & that it doesn’t mean you are off your path but that you are on your path.


we need to accept our anxieties because all it’s really telling us is that we are passionate beings. so passionate that we overthink over analyze & live in fear. and maybe right now that passion is wrapped up in anxiety but we can choose to turn our passion toward healing.


we need to accept that it’s not our fault that we are deeply feeling humans living in a world that doesn’t teach us how to handle our emotions. that doesn’t encourage us to being open. transparent. but instead hushes us. nudges us back in line. keep it neat keep it quiet.


accept that while we didn’t choose this — we can choose again.


it isn’t easy but it’s the best work you’ll ever do. ride the highs with gratitude and accept with lows with grace. show yourself compassion when you don’t feel your best and shower yourself in pride each moment you remember what brought you here. the choice you made. to live a life worth living. to accept & honor your truth.


& in moments of despair simply come back to these words — because I see you. and I am proud of you.
